William A. Liquori, Chief of Police (ret), Altamonte
Springs, Florida

Chief Liquori is a forty-four (44) year veteran of local
law enforcement.  He was Chief of Police with the
Altamonte Springs Police Department for twenty (20)
years and interim Chief of Police in Deland for six
months.  Prior to going to the Altamonte Springs Police
Department, Chief Liquori served with the Orlando
Police Department for twenty-three and a half (23 ½)
years and retired as a Deputy Chief of Police.  Chief
Liquori is a graduate of Rollins College with a B.S. in
Criminal Justice, and a graduate of the FBI National
Academy and the FBI Law Enforcement Executive
Development Seminar.  He is a past president of the
Florida Association of Chiefs of Police and served as a
Commissioner and the Chairman of the Florida
Standards and Training Commission.  He was
Chairman of the Commission for Florida Law
Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. and Chairman of the
International Association of Chiefs’ of Police Education
and Training Committee.  Chief Liquori teaches for
several associations, colleges and academies
nationwide in the areas of internal affairs and
discipline, budgeting and management of law
enforcement agencies.
